What Will Google Pixel 9a Offer?
New leaks about the Pixel 9a reveal crucial information regarding its price, release date, and technical specifications. According to reports, the device will launch in the U.S. with a price tag of $499 for the 128GB variant and $649 for the 256GB model—a $40 increase compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 8a. In Europe, pricing is set at €549 / £499 (128GB) and €649 / £599 (256GB).
The Pixel 9a will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The device will feature a 6.2-inch OLED display with 2,700 nits peak brightness and 1,800 nits HDR brightness.
On the camera front, the Pixel 9a will include a 48MP f/1.7 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP Sony IMX712 selfie sensor.
The phone will house a 5,100mAh battery, supporting 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. Security-wise, the Titan M2 security chip will ensure data protection and secure boot processes. Additionally, the device will feature an IP68 rating, making it resistant to water and dust.
Leaked images suggest that the Pixel 9a will introduce a new design approach. Unlike previous models with a horizontal camera bar, the device will feature a pill-shaped camera module in the top-left corner. No major design changes are expected on the front.
The Pixel 9a will be available for pre-order on March 19, 2025, and officially launch on March 26, 2025. Additionally, buyers will receive three months of Google One (100GB) and YouTube Premium, along with six months of Fitbit Premium.
