Xiaomi’s highly anticipated flagship, the 15 Ultra, will officially be unveiled today. There have been numerous reports about the smartphone, giving us some idea of what to expect. Recent developments reveal new details about the product.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Disassembled
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be revealed at today’s event in China, alongside the brand’s new car, the SU7 Ultra. The global launch is expected to take place on March 2. A new video showcasing the smartphone has been released, where we can see it disassembled.
From the promotional posters shared by Xiaomi in the past, we can expect the device to feature the “Leica Ultra-Pure Optical System,” designed to improve image clarity and light intake. Additionally, it will likely come with a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor and a 1-inch primary camera. The previous model featured a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, indicating that this product will be very ambitious in terms of photography.
As the launch approaches, Xiaomi has revealed the camera capabilities of the 15 Ultra model through its latest promotional posters. The design of the smartphone will largely resemble its predecessor, with the most significant change being in the camera layout, which is expected to be more asymmetrical compared to the previous model.
