iPhone 17 Pro may come with a new telephoto camera

Dozens of leaks have emerged so far for the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to be introduced in Apple’s iPhone 17 series. Although it is still early for an official statement, this much leakage and expectation may be a sign for the introduction of the phone. In addition to the Air, important developments are also expected for the Pro models, and one of them seems to be on the camera side.

According to the posts made by a popular Apple analyst, one of Apple’s plans for this year is to announce a new telephoto lens for the Pro models. There are also different leaks for the iPhone 17 Pro, which is expected to come with a 48-megapixel telephoto lens.

If we look at the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models introduced last September, we can see that the devices come with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Although the 48-megapixel telephoto lens is innovative for the 17 Pro models, this lens is expected to have 3.5x optical zoom.

In other words, although it offers less zoom than the current model, it will provide better quality images than the previous one with high resolution.
