Having started the rollout of the One UI 7 update as of April 7, Samsung continues to deliver patches that enhance user security. The South Korean brand has now released the May 2025 update for one of its popular mid-range models.
May 2025 Update Now Available for Samsung Galaxy A56
The latest model to receive the May 2025 update is the Galaxy A56. Arriving with the build number A566EXXU3AYDK, the new patch is currently available for the device variants in South Korea and India. However, it’s expected to expand to more countries in the coming days.
If you haven’t received an automatic update notification on your device, you can manually check by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update still doesn’t appear after following these steps, it may not yet be available in your region—so you might need to wait a little longer.
