Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Gaming Tablet towards the end of June. The tablet is expected to launch alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra, which recently received certifications in China. The K80 Ultra is set to feature a 7,500 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
What Will the Redmi Gaming Tablet Offer?
Like the K80 Ultra, the Redmi Gaming Tablet will feature bypass charging support and a large-capacity battery. Both devices are reported to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The tablet will also include an approximately 8-inch LCD display, dual speakers, and dual-axis vibration motors for an enhanced gaming experience.

According to past reports, Xiaomi plans to expand its tablet lineup starting in 2025, and the Redmi Gaming Tablet is expected to play a key role in this strategy. Well-known industry leaker Digital Chat Station claims that the model could go on sale in July or August, shortly after its June launch, which aligns with Redmi’s traditional flagship release timelines. The tablet is also expected to succeed the Redmi Pad Pro.
The device is rumored to feature an 8.8-inch high refresh rate LCD display, dual X-axis linear motors for advanced haptics, dual USB-C ports, and stereo speakers. Its unibody metal design aims to provide both durability and portability for extended gaming sessions. Meanwhile, the Redmi K80 Ultra will sport a 1.5K flat OLED screen, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal mid-frame, and 100W fast charging.
