Huawei continues its claim in the foldable phone market with its new model Mate XT 2. The engineering move that the company started with the previous model Mate XT in this series will show itself with the developments in durability in the new device. According to the latest information, ultra-flexible glass technology will be used in the Mate XT 2.
Huawei Mate XT 2 will come to us
It is stated that the glass to be used on the screen of the Mate XT 2 has a structure similar to the ultra-flexible glass (UFG) technology preferred in Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 W25 model offered to the Chinese market. UFG provides both higher flexibility and long-lasting use compared to traditional ultra-thin glass.

This increase in the durability capacity of the device is considered as a response to the deformation and breakage problems that are frequently on the agenda, especially in foldable screen phones. Huawei; With the Mate XT 2, it aims to differentiate itself from its competitors not only in terms of hardware, but also security and user experience.
Some information has also emerged about the technical equipment of the Mate XT 2. It is stated that the phone will use Huawei’s own Kirin 9020 processor. This processor was previously included in the Pura 80 series.
The device, which is reported to have a three-foldable form structure, offers versatile use unlike standard foldable designs. The Mate XT 2, whose launch date has not yet been finalized, is expected to be announced in the second half of the year along with the Mate X7.
