It was rumored that Reeves could not continue his work due to some difficulties in his personal life. During this process, claims that Warner Bros. could change the director and the film could be transferred to another name were also on the agenda.

However, this scenario did not come true. According to information based on Hollywood sources, Matt Reeves has completed the script for The Batman 2 and is delivering it to Warner Bros. this week. With this development, the film is moving into the expected production process.

If everything goes well according to plans, shooting is expected to begin in January. This strengthens the possibility that the film, which is planned to be released on October 1, 2027, will meet the determined date. The film, in which Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Batman, will also feature the names from the first production.
