Renault’s fully electric redeveloped Renault 5 has been launched in Turkey. The vehicle’s price starts at 1,450,000 TL. The model, offered with the Techno equipment level, has entered the electric car market in Turkey with its retro design and compact dimensions.
Electric Renault 5 officially on the Turkish market
The new Renault 5 stands out as the first model developed on the AmpR Small platform. The vehicle is 3.92 meters long, 1.77 meters wide, 1.5 meters high and 2.54 meters axle distance. With these dimensions, the Renault 5, which has a smaller body than the Clio, offers a luggage volume of 326 liters.

The entry-level version of the model has an electric motor producing 90 kW (120 hp). This motor is paired with a 40 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery. This combination provides a range of 312 kilometers according to WLTP measurements.
The top version has an engine that produces 110 kW (150 hp) and 245 Nm of torque. This version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 150 km/h. With its 52 kWh capacity NMC battery, the model’s range is up to 410 kilometers.
In terms of charging features, the Renault 5 offers 11 kW AC charging and up to 100 kW DC fast charging support. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the battery from 15% to 80% at DC fast charging stations.
