Google’s new foldable phone, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, will be thinner and more durable than its predecessor. According to new reports, the device will improve water and dust resistance compared to the previous model and will also have a more stylish design.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will use a thinner hinge mechanism this year. In this way, the phone will be thinner and will compete better with rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy Fold 7. The phone will also be easier to hold in this way. One of the most important innovations is the IP68 certification.

If the leaks are true, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the first foldable phone to receive IP68 certification. As it is known, most foldable phones do not provide dust resistance and only offer IPX8 resistance against water. To elaborate on this, in the IP68 certification, “6” means full dust resistance, and “8” means water resistance for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.

Google will introduce the phone worldwide on August 20. Finally, the leaked images indicate a design similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
