Samsung continues its Fan Edition tradition after the Galaxy S25 series. The new model to be added to the series, the Galaxy S25 FE, showed itself for the first time in performance tests. Although it has not been officially introduced yet, the results that emerged on benchmark platforms provide important information about the device’s hardware capabilities.
Galaxy S25 FE entered the performance test
The Galaxy S25 FE includes Samsung’s own production Exynos 2400 processor. The Xclipse 940 GPU, developed jointly with AMD, was preferred as the graphics unit. This hardware combination earned the device 13,776 points in the OpenCL test.

In artificial intelligence-supported tests, the device achieved 2,124 points in the single-precision test, 2,039 points in the half-precision test, and 3,009 points in the quantized AI test. This data shows that the Galaxy AI features work flawlessly on the device.
It is seen that the Galaxy S25 FE uses the same processor as the S24 FE, which was introduced last year. However, due to software improvements and optimization differences, there may be a significant increase in performance.
It has been confirmed that the device will come out of the box with the Android 16-based One UI 8 interface. The standard model has 8 GB of RAM, but it is not yet certain whether a 12 GB variant will be released.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 variant, which was previously on the agenda, has been removed from the project. There are strong claims that the Exynos 2400 processor will be used in all regional models. This means that Samsung will offer the S25 FE series with a single hardware platform on a global scale.
On the hardware side, the Galaxy S25 FE comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display offering FHD+ resolution. The display can reach a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness level of up to 2,600 nits. The battery capacity is determined as 4,700mAh and 45W fast charging support is offered.
The camera setup has also been revealed. The front of the device has a 12 MP selfie camera. On the back, there is a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle, and an 8 MP telephoto lens. This configuration aims to offer an ambitious camera experience in the mid-upper segment.
The Galaxy S25 FE is planned to be introduced in October. If the results obtained in the tests match the final model to be released, the device is expected to be priced at $600-650. This could make the model one of the options that make the flagship experience more accessible.
