Hyundai has made its latest move in electric performance vehicles with the Ioniq 6 N. Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, the vehicle stands out as one of the brand’s most powerful and technologically advanced electric models to date.
New Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Announced
The new Ioniq 6 N, with its dual electric motor powertrain, delivers a total of 601 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. These values increase to 641 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque for 10 seconds thanks to the vehicle’s “N Grin Boost” feature. With this system engaged, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed is measured at 258 km/h.

The vehicle demonstrates that performance isn’t limited to the engine alone; its chassis and driving dynamics also demonstrate. Hyundai has completely revised the Ioniq 6 N’s suspension geometry. New electronically controlled shock absorbers automatically adjust the suspension to suit road conditions. The “N Drift Optimizer” and “N Torque Distribution” systems enhance the vehicle’s cornering performance while providing a driving characteristic suitable for both track and everyday use.
The braking system also adopts a high-performance approach. Equipped with four-piston calipers at the front and single-piston calipers at the rear, the system is supported by 275/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero 5 tires. The vehicle’s flared fenders and swan-neck rear spoiler contribute to both aerodynamics and a sportier appearance.

The driving experience isn’t limited to speed and handling. Hyundai has included various features in the Ioniq 6 N to enhance the emotional connection between the driver and the vehicle. The “N e-Shift” system aims to preserve traditional driving habits by simulating the feel of gear changes in an electric car.
These shifts are synchronized with the ambient lighting used in the interior. The “N Active Sound+” feature offers three different artificial engine sounds. “Ignition” is inspired by motorsports, while “Evolution” is more nostalgic, evoking the sounds of early electric vehicles. “Lightspeed” has a futuristic, sci-fi-inspired tone.
The Ioniq 6 N offers a range of 468 kilometers (280 miles) according to WLTP measurements, and its battery capacity has not yet been released. Official pricing has not been announced, but market sources predict a starting price of around $60,000. More technical details about the vehicle, including its arrival date in Turkey, will be announced later.
