Honor has begun work on the successor to last year’s Magic 7 series. According to reliable industry sources, the upcoming Honor Magic 8 series, expected to be unveiled in the coming months, will introduce a significant addition. This time, the lineup will include a model that is likely to appeal to fans of compact smartphones: the Magic 8 Mini. Recent reports have revealed new details about the device. Here’s what we know!
Honor Magic 8 Mini Revealed: What Will It Offer?
According to trusted sources, including The Factory Manager is Guan, Honor will launch three different Magic 8 models this year. Unlike last year’s Magic 7 series, which consisted of only two models, this new lineup will feature an additional device called the Honor Magic 8 Mini.

All three models in the series will reportedly sport flat-edged displays, rounded corners, and ultra-thin bezels. Meanwhile, both the Standard and Pro versions will include 3D facial recognition technology—a feature that will be omitted from the Mini variant.
Sources also claim that the Standard and Pro models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and will feature a 200 MP telephoto sensor.
The Honor Magic 8 Mini, on the other hand, will come equipped with the same 7,000 mAh battery seen in the other models. It will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor. The device will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution. The official launch is expected to take place in October.
