Samsung is continuing its test efforts for the Android 16-based One UI 8 update. Although this version was initially rolled out with the foldable models introduced on July 9, it has not yet been released to the general public. However, the latest information reveals that the South Korean brand has started testing the update on an entry-level device.
One UI 8 Tests Begin for Galaxy M35 5G
Samsung has started testing the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy M35 5G. The test firmware was detected on the company’s servers with the build number M356BXXU5CYG6. This development suggests that the model may receive the stable version soon.

It is still unclear when Samsung will release the One UI 8 update widely. The fact that the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE models—introduced on July 9—come with this version suggests that the update may roll out to more devices soon. This means users may not have to wait too long.
