Vodafone continues its investments to provide the best experience for its customers. In the latest network performance assessment conducted by umlaut, Vodafone was named the mobile operator with the most reliable and best performance on the 4.5G network used throughout Turkey, as well as the most reliable and best mobile connection in Istanbul. This confirms the strength of Vodafone’s existing 4.5G network ahead of the 5G tender expected in the coming months.

Vodafone analyzed 5G network performance

umlaut’s benchmarking methodology focuses on customer experience network quality and covers a wide range of mobile services. The company compares each mobile network in terms of network performance and service continuity. These publicly available benchmarks reveal how well operators deliver wireless connections to consumers, corporate users, and businesses, and their areas for improvement. umlaut analyzed the mobile network performance of both Vodafone and other operators.

The performance of operators’ voice and data services was tested using the Samsung Galaxy S23+. The tests were conducted using a moving vehicle in cities and districts, as well as on connecting roads. In addition to the driving test, the scope of the measurement was expanded by incorporating crowdsourced data collected from across Turkey reflecting customer experience.

In umlaut’s tests, Vodafone achieved the highest overall mobile performance nationwide with a score of 885 out of 1000. Leading the voice category with 252 out of 270 points, Vodafone achieved the highest score in the data category with 412 out of 480 points, and achieving the highest score for crowdsourced quality with 221 out of 250 points. In Istanbul, Vodafone achieved the highest overall score with 893 out of 1000 points.
