Battlefield 6 is crashing on Intel Arc A-series graphics cards. In the game’s open beta, freezes, map loading failures, and sudden crashes are experienced on Intel models ranging from the Arc A380 to the Arc A770. The problem is particularly severe when the game is played in frameless mode.

Although Intel announced support for the Arc A-series near the game’s launch, these driver-related problems persist. Similar issues have not been observed with Arc B-series cards, suggesting the issue is driver-related rather than hardware-related.

Users are suggesting two workarounds. The first is to switch from frameless mode to full-screen or windowed mode in the game settings. The second is to manually add the “bf6event.exe” file to the game compatibility list in the old Intel control panel. However, the latter method carries risks of using outdated software, so it should be used with caution.
Intel has confirmed the issue and released a new driver. Despite this, some users continue to experience problems. Therefore, suggested workarounds continue to be used on social media.
