The battery capacity of Samsung’s highly anticipated new flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, has finally been revealed. According to information from China’s 3C database, the phone’s battery will have the same capacity as its predecessor. This development also confirms earlier leaks.

Galaxy S26 Ultra will have the same battery as its predecessor The battery for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with model number EB-BS948ABY/E, was listed on 3C with a capacity of 4855 mAh. This number is the same as the 4855 mAh seen in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung will likely market this battery as 5000mAh, so we can say there will be no difference from the current flagship model.

After the Note 7 incident, Samsung is known to be hesitant to make changes to battery capacity. Instead, the company relies on software and AI tools to increase battery life. Therefore, even if the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s battery capacity remains the same, it will offer a longer battery life compared to the S25 Ultra.
The device will support 60W super-fast charging technology. With this technology, the battery will charge from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
In addition to the S26 Ultra, Samsung is also working on two more models for 2026. Reliable sources previously revealed the battery capacities of these models. The S26 Pro will have a 4300mAh battery, and the Edge model will have a 4200mAh battery.
Samsung is also internally testing its own Exynos 2600 processor. This processor was developed using 2nm fabrication technology. If this processor is used in the new models, significant improvements in battery life will be seen thanks to a more modern and smaller chipset.
However, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will only use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. Qualcomm is expected to introduce this chipset at the end of September.
