Samsung has started the countdown for the One UI 8 update and is also releasing security patches to improve user safety. In line with this, the August 2025 security patch has been made available for three models.
August 2025 Patch is Live for Samsung Galaxy A73, A33, and A36
The latest Samsung models to receive the August 2025 security update are the Galaxy A73, A33, and A36. The new patch comes with the build numbers A736BXXSAFYH2, A336EDXSEFYH2, and A366BXXS4AYH9, respectively. It has currently been rolled out for variants in Europe and Asia, with other regions expected to follow in the coming days.
If you haven’t received an automatic update notification on your device, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update still doesn’t appear after this, you may need to wait a little longer, as the patch might not have reached your region yet.
