Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is gearing up for its official launch on September 5, and if you missed out on the Limited Edition earlier this summer, good news. Preorders for the $100 collector’s set have been restocked at Amazon and Walmart, just days before release on PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Limited Edition returns after summer sellout
The Titanic Scion Limited Edition had been sold out for months at major retailers. Now, with less than a week to go before launch, it’s finally back in stock. The bundle is available for all three console platforms and offers a pile of physical goodies for just $30 more than the standard $70 edition.
Here’s what’s included in the Limited Edition:
- Standard physical game
- Oversized display box with exclusive artwork
- 3D acrylic diorama
- Full-color art book
- Original soundtrack on CD
- 3 flight tag keychains
- 3 emblem patches
Considering the content, the added $30 feels like a solid value, especially with collector sets like Guardians of Azuma’s Earth Dancer Edition already off most shelves.

Why the physical version matters

Unlike Marvelous’ earlier games like Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, this entry will not be available on the original Switch.

Titanic Scion continues the saga with or without the first game
Titanic Scion is a sequel to the 2019 original Daemon X Machina, but it’s set 300 years later. That means newcomers can jump in without worrying about prior lore, though returning players might catch a few hidden nods.
Marvelous says the new game includes:

- Deep mech customization
- Up to 3-player online co-op
The original game is still available digitally for $60, though physical editions are rare. PC players can grab it cheaper on Fanatical, where it’s currently listed at $42.49 with a promo code.
Another win for physical games
Marvelous has made a point of offering true physical editions with full games on-card for Switch 2. That’s becoming rare, especially with many third-party releases opting for Game-Key Cards, essentially physical license keys that still require full downloads.
