Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has announced the C85, a new member of its C series. Launched as an updated version of last year’s C65, the phone stands out with its large battery, high-refresh-rate display, and affordable price.

The device features a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. This display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 810 nits of peak brightness. The POCO C85 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor. It comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, and 128GB and 256GB of storage.

The phone’s most prominent feature is its 6,000 mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. The camera features a 50MP main sensor on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The camera app also includes new AI-powered modes.

The phone is IP64 certified and resistant to dust and splashes. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-SIM support. The device measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm and weighs 205 grams. It’s available in three colors: purple, black, and green. The phone’s price is announced as $179.
