As competition intensifies in the phone market, vivo is preparing to make a groundbreaking move in mobile photography. According to recent industry leaks, the brand’s upcoming flagship, the vivo X300 Ultra, will be the world’s first smartphone to feature two 200-megapixel sensors in its rear camera setup.
The vivo X300 Ultra Will Come with a 200MP Main and 200MP Periscope Camera
According to leaks, this revolutionary setup offers 200MP resolution on both the main camera and the periscope telephoto camera, promising exceptional detail at all distances. The 200MP periscope camera, with an 85mm focal length, is expected to set a new standard for lossless zoom and portrait photography. These two powerful sensors will also be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

At the heart of the camera system is rumored to be the new 1/1.4-inch Samsung ISOCELL HPB sensor, developed specifically for vivo. Key components of the hardware will be vivo’s in-house developed imaging and video chips, along with the legendary Zeiss T coating* that minimizes lens flare and reflections, to maximize image quality.
The vivo X300 Ultra will offer flagship-worthy hardware not only with its rear camera but also with its other features. Like its other models in the series, the X300 and X300 Pro, this model will also feature a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus and a wide 92-degree field of view.
The phone’s powerhouse will be Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced next-generation chipset, expected to be the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This processor, likely called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, will propel the X300 Ultra to the top of the performance league. With these ambitious specifications, the vivo X300 Ultra is poised to become one of the most talked-about devices in the mobile technology world in late 2025 and early 2026.
