Battery replacement prices for Tesla’s most popular model in Turkey, the Model Y, have been announced. Battery life and replacement costs, one of the biggest concerns for electric vehicles, have once again come to the forefront with the announced prices.

Tesla Model Y Battery Replacement Price in Turkey

The battery replacement price for the new Tesla Model Y Standard Range Rear-Wheel Drive is 389,573 TL. This price increases to 690,965 TL for the new Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive version. Battery replacement prices for older Model Ys start at 410,455 TL and go up to 690,965 TL. These prices do not include labor or VAT.

The company offers specific warranty periods for its vehicles. The Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty covers 4 years or 80,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). The Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty varies depending on the version.

Accordingly, the battery for the Rear-Wheel Drive Model Y comes with a minimum 70% capacity retention guarantee for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. This period extends to 8 years or 192,000 kilometers for the Long Range and Performance versions of the Model Y.

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), a car in Turkey travels an average of 13,564 kilometers per year. Based on this calculation, a typical user can use their vehicle for approximately 11 years to benefit from Tesla’s battery warranty.
