At IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, Germany, Hyundai unveiled a concept version of a car of significant interest to Turkey. Dubbed Concept ÜÇ, this model previewed the electric Ioniq 3, which will hit the roads in 2026 and is planned for production in Turkey. The production model’s design will reportedly be up to 80% identical to the concept version.

Hyundai describes the vehicle as an “Aero Hatch.” A sporty roofline, sharp lines from its “Art of Steel” design language, and a steep rear window combine performance and practicality. The design has been reinterpreted for the electric era, but it resembles a Veloster with two rear doors instead of a single one.

According to Simon Loasby, Head of Hyundai Design Center, the production version does not feature the same aggressive details or rear-opening wing doors as the concept model. However, some elements, such as the rear diffuser, transparent spoiler, and wide fenders, may find their way into a future N performance version.
The new model also features prominent lighting technology. The “Parametric Pixel” lighting at both ends of the vehicle features a more advanced design. The pixels at the top illuminate brighter with a gradual transition.
The interior, however, completely deviates from the typical Hyundai design approach. Instead of a large touchscreen, the car features a system that allows drivers to personalize their own widgets by placing them on the dashboard.
This concept, complementing Hyundai’s existing mid-size and large-size electric vehicles, focuses on the compact EV segment. Measuring 4,287 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,428 mm in height, Concept THREE offers a structure optimized for urban use with a 2,722 mm wheelbase.
