Xiaomi isn’t waiting around. The company has expanded the HyperOS 3 beta program ahead of schedule, adding seven more devices to the roster—including tablets and smart TVs.
HyperOS 3 beta rollout speeds up for second batch

Originally, Xiaomi planned to open beta access for a second group of devices on September 17. But just two days before that date, the company announced that the expansion would begin immediately. As of September 15, eligible users began receiving Android 16-based HyperOS 3 beta updates.
This move accelerates Xiaomi’s testing phase, which kicked off with eight initial models. Now, the program covers even more ground across multiple product categories.
It reaches new Xiaomi devices
If you’ve got one of the following, you can now join the beta via the Xiaomi Community app:
- Redmi K80 (aka Poco F7 Pro globally)
- Redmi K Pad
- Xiaomi Pad 7
- Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra
- Xiaomi Mix Flip 2
- Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED
- Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025
Xiaomi is clearly betting big on HyperOS 3 across both mobile and smart home ecosystems.
HyperOS 3 beta hints at broader rollout plans
Xiaomi isn’t slowing down. Another wave of eligible devices is scheduled for September 30, when nine more models are expected to join the beta ranks. The company appears to be working toward a rapid, tiered rollout before the stable release.
HyperOS 3 beta paves the way for Android 16 stable release
A stable build is just around the corner. On September 24, Xiaomi will officially launch the 15T series. That event will likely include more detailed plans for the final version of HyperOS 3.
With the beta arriving early for some and a third batch on the way, it’s clear Xiaomi wants to lock in feedback fast. Whether you’re testing on a tablet, foldable, or smart TV, the message is the same: the Android 16 era for Xiaomi has already begun.
