Following the launch of the OPPO K13 Turbo series in China last April, the first information emerged that the company is working on the next generation. With new posts released today, display and processor details for the new K Turbo series have begun to emerge. Here are the details of the OPPO K15 Turbo Pro.
OPPO K15 Turbo Pro Specifications
It is still unclear whether OPPO’s next K Turbo phone will be called the K14 Turbo or the K15 Turbo. Because the number “4” is considered unlucky in Chinese culture, some brands prefer to omit it. However, considering that OPPO didn’t skip the number 14 in the Reno series, it’s interesting to see whether this trend will continue with the K Turbo series.

According to the leaker, the OPPO K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro models will feature a 6.5-inch display, slightly smaller than the 6.67-inch OLED panel. While no information is available about the standard model’s processor, the Pro version is reportedly testing with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (SM8845), which hasn’t been officially announced yet.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is expected to offer slightly lower performance compared to last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, its AnTuTu benchmark score of 3.4 million points compared to the Elite’s 3.3 million points still represents a significant improvement. This chip will utilize TSMC’s advanced N3P manufacturing process, providing better efficiency and thermal management.
It’s too early to predict the release date of the OPPO K15 Turbo series. If OPPO follows a six-month cycle, the devices could be unveiled in November. However, if it sticks to a one-year cycle, the launch could be postponed until April 2026. For now, it’s best to wait for additional reports for more definitive information about the series’ future.
