At its “Global Innovative Product Launch” event in Paris, Huawei unveiled new products that strengthen its position in the wearable technology market. Among the highlights of the event were the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series and WATCH Ultimate 2, as well as the updated WATCH D2 Blue Edition. Priced at £349.99 in the UK, this new model is £30 more expensive than the black and gold versions released last year.
Huawei Watch D2 Blue Edition Stands Out with Blood Pressure Monitoring
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 Blue Edition features the same features as previous D2 models. Focused on medical-grade health and fitness tracking, the watch supports 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM). Users can set single or recurring reminders for regular check-ups and view detailed reports that include data such as average systolic and diastolic values, daytime and nighttime readings.

The device is approved as a medical device in accordance with the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) guidelines for ABPM and is CE-MDR certified. These advanced features are made possible by Huawei’s TruSense system, which combines a high-precision pressure sensor, a mini pump, and a 26.5 mm inflatable airbag built into the strap.
