Xiaomi unveiled its exciting new products at the 2025 Lei Jun Annual Keynote, and one accessory in particular caught the attention: its new 5000mAh magnetic power bank, designed for both the latest iPhones and Xiaomi devices.
Xiaomi is disrupting the game with the Jinshajiang Power Bank!
This portable charger, called the Jinshajiang Power Bank, raises the bar in mobile accessories with its thickness of just 6mm and a featherweight weight of 98 grams. Despite its slim design, it boasts a battery capacity of 5000mAh, a testament to the advanced technology employed. Xiaomi claims this thinness is achieved through silicon-carbon battery cell technology, which contains 16% silicon and features large-surface graphite sheets.

The power bank supports 15W magnetic wireless fast charging. It also offers wired charging at up to 22.5W via its USB-C port. This allows users to charge two devices simultaneously, both wired and magnetic wireless. One of the power bank’s most important features is its ability to continue keeping devices active even while charging.
What makes the Jinshajiang Power Bank appealing globally is its broad compatibility. Priced at 299 yuan (approximately $42), the product is fully compatible not only with Xiaomi’s new flagship series, the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Pro, but also with:
- The entire iPhone 17 series (iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air),
- The previous-generation iPhone 14 series (14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max),
- The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, Mix Fold 4, and 15 series,
and a wide range of Apple and Xiaomi smartphones. Xiaomi has officially confirmed its full compatibility with these devices.
Design and Safety at the Forefront
The power bank features an aluminum alloy body with a semi-reflective logo and curved edges. The fiberglass material used on the charging surface, with a special excimer spray coating, both enhances grip and provides heat resistance.
Also committed to safety, Xiaomi has added ten layers of safety protection to the product, including overcharging, overheating, short circuit, and foreign object detection. The device also holds the 2025 CCC certification, meeting the latest Chinese safety standards, and is also approved by the company as cabin-safe.
