The company reported that it is unable to bring some of its new features to European users due to the requirements imposed by the law. Apple cites, for example, the fact that recently announced features such as live translation via AirPods and iPhone screen mirroring are not available in the EU.

The DMA requires Apple products to work with devices from other brands. Apple argues that this requirement poses security and privacy risks. The company states that the failure to apply the rules to major competitors like Samsung is unfair.

According to the company, this situation degrades the user experience in Europe and can even prevent products from being offered for sale. The law also directly affects which apps are available in the app store.

Apple stated that it does not accept apps containing harmful content for minors from the App Store, but that due to the DMA, such apps are now accessible through other app stores like the Play Store.
