Realme is taking an innovative approach to camera design in its new flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro. Recent leaks have revealed that the device will feature a replaceable camera module. This will allow users to customize the phone’s rear appearance.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will stand out with its camera.
The shared promotional image shows the GT 8 Pro featuring a removable camera module. Users can swap this module out for different styles. The image shows three different camera module designs: round, square, and reminiscent of a robot’s face. This approach goes beyond traditional camera frames, allowing users to customize the look of their device.

Besides the design difference, the phone’s camera features are also noteworthy. The device will include a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. This sensor is being introduced as the “Ultra Eye.” No definitive information is yet available about the other cameras.
Other expected features for the Realme GT 8 Pro are also being revealed. According to various reports, the device will debut with an AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, developed in collaboration with BOE.
Thanks to the Q10+ material, the display offers higher brightness and eye protection, reaching a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The processor is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Realme will also feature its custom-developed R1 display chip. The company describes this architecture as a “dual chip” and aims to enhance gaming performance and visual experience. Power is expected to include a battery with a capacity exceeding 7,000 mAh and support for 120W fast wired charging.
Stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader are also among the device’s key features. The phone is scheduled to be unveiled in China in October.
