Adobe says it designed the new app to deliver a “professional-quality video editing experience.” The iOS version includes an unlimited multi-track timeline that can handle video, audio, and text layers simultaneously. Users can trim clips, add audio tracks, synchronize subtitles, and also access Adobe’s free creative libraries.
Mobile Premiere isn’t limited to just basic editing tools. The app’s speech enhancement tool cleans up background noise, making audio clearer. It also offers automatic captioning and customization with different typographic styles. It also exports in 4K HDR, and content can be shared with a single tap to social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
One of the most notable innovations is the integration with Firefly AI, Adobe’s generative artificial intelligence platform. This feature allows users to create sound effects, enhance visual elements, and create more creative projects without leaving their mobile devices.
Synchronized with the Desktop Version
Projects created in the new app don’t just stay on mobile; Files can be opened directly in Premiere Pro on a desktop computer without any conversion. This allows you to pick up a project started on the go right where you left off in the studio.

Adobe is positioning Premiere for mobile as a replacement for the existing Premiere Rush app. While Rush users will still be able to use the app, the software will be completely discontinued by September 30, 2026. After that date, Rush will only work on devices where it is currently installed.
The iPhone and iPad versions are available for free. However, additional cloud storage, productive AI credits, and advanced features offered through Adobe Creative Cloud are available as part of optional paid packages.
The new app is available for download today on the App Store worldwide. Adobe also announced that an Android version is in development and will be available to Android users at a later date.
