Samsung has begun rolling out the stable One UI 8 Watch update, based on Wear OS 6, to the Galaxy Watch 7 series smartwatches. The update is being rolled out first to Watch 7 users who enrolled in the One UI 8 Watch beta program in South Korea. A wider rollout is expected in the coming days.
Galaxy Watch 7 series updated
This stable One UI 8 Watch release for the Galaxy Watch 7 comes with software version L310XXU1BYI4 and includes the September 2025 security patch. The download size for beta testers will be approximately 160MB, while for users who have not participated in the beta program, the download size is expected to be around 2GB.

This latest update for beta testers only improves the watch’s overall performance, power efficiency, and system stability, providing a smoother and more responsive user experience. However, users switching to One UI 8 Watch for the first time will experience significant user interface changes, functionality upgrades, and many new features.
The new One UI Watch version brings four new health and fitness features: Antioxidant Index, Bedtime Guide, Running Coach, and Vascular Load.
The update also adds the Now Bar, which displays all ongoing activities, multiple widget pages, and the double-pinch gesture for use in more places. This major update also brings a revamped charging animation, an improved notifications view, a customizable app screen, and better watch face suggestions.
