Honor has introduced its new tablet, the MagicPad 3 12.5, to the Chinese market, designed as a smaller, budget-friendly alternative. Having previously released the 13.3-inch model in July, this new addition to the company combines high-end performance with a lighter body compared to its predecessor, the MagicPad 3 Pro.
Unique Display Technology and High Performance

At the heart of the tablet is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This octa-core chipset, including a 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 core, is ready to tackle even the most demanding tasks. The device ships with MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15 and can be upgraded to MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 in the future.
The new MagicPad 3 12.5 boasts ample camera hardware for everyday use and robust connectivity. On the rear, there’s a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 autofocus, and on the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The tablet supports the latest wireless standards, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also promises a better wireless audio experience thanks to high-quality audio codecs like LDAC and aptX Adaptive.
The device boasts a 10,100 mAh battery for long battery life, and 66W fast charging support allows for quick charging. The tablet, with its aluminum body and premium feel, is available in silver, black, green, and purple. Measuring 5.88 mm thin and weighing 528 grams including battery, it is both stylish and lightweight.
