Türk Telekom announced its financial and operational results for the third quarter of 2025. Continuing its strong performance in the third quarter of 2025, Türk Telekom increased its consolidated revenues by 10.7 percent year-over-year to 59.5 billion TL. Its EBITDA in the third quarter increased by 21.6 percent to 26.7 billion TL, with an EBITDA margin of 44.9 percent. Türk Telekom, which posted a net profit of 10.2 billion TL in the third quarter, made investments worth 21.7 billion TL in the quarter.
Türk Telekom, the leader of Turkey’s digital transformation, had a total subscriber base of 56.2 million as of the third quarter of 2025. As a result of its ongoing efforts to provide high-speed internet throughout Turkey, the length of its fiber network reached 514,000 kilometers, fiber home coverage reached 33.9 million, and the ratio of fiber-connected LTE base stations, crucial for 5G, reached 56%. Türk Telekom, which demonstrated its best quarterly performance in mobile operations in history, increased its mobile subscriber base to 30.8 million with a net subscriber gain of 2.3 million.
Türk Telekom CEO Ebubekir Şahin, assessing the financial and operational results for the third quarter of 2025, said, “The past period represents the threshold of a new era for both Türk Telekom and the construction of our country’s digital future. First and foremost, we renewed our concession agreement for fixed-line services in line with our country’s interests. In this context, we will continue our strategic efforts to strengthen Turkey’s digital backbone and directly contribute $20 billion to the economy. Then, we achieved the desired results by securing the frequencies that allow us to offer the highest bandwidth per subscriber in the 5G tender held on October 16th. The strong position we achieved in the 5G frequency tender brought with it a capacity increase that will shape the technologies of the future. In addition to all this, we are proud to have completed this period, which witnessed significant developments that will shape the digital future, with an outstanding quarterly performance. These results, which demonstrate the concrete results of our digital transformation-focused strategy, are the most important indicator of the investments we have made and our vision of preparing our country for the future. As Türk Telekom, we will continue to be the flag bearer on the journey to building the digital future.” “We recorded our best quarterly performance in mobile in history.”
Şahin stated that they achieved a historic performance in mobile in the third quarter of the year and that, as we enter a new era with the 5G tender, they continue to reap the rewards of sound investments and long-term strategies. He said, “During this period, our mobile subscriber count reached 30.8 million. We achieved a historic record with 2.3 million net subscriber additions in mobile. While strengthening our mobile customer base, we continue our work with a strategy centered on customer satisfaction. We regained our long-held leadership in the MNT market after a hiatus last quarter. We reached a new record in this area with over 4 million net postpaid subscriber additions in the last twelve months. By integrating our fiber infrastructure, which connects all 81 provinces end-to-end, into mobile, we aim to become the operator that offers the most comprehensive mobile experience in every corner of Turkey. While strengthening our role as a driving force in our country’s digital transformation, we will continue to sustainably grow our mobile business.” Ebubekir Şahin stated that they continue to strengthen the fiber infrastructure to meet future needs through intensive work carried out in every corner of Turkey.

He said, “We are continuing our fiber network work in every corner of all 81 provinces with the aim of providing high-speed access for everyone. The fixed broadband base reached 15.5 million in the third quarter, and the fiber subscriber base reached 14.2 million, with a net addition of 144,000 subscribers. The share of our fiber subscribers in total fixed broadband subscribers increased from 87.9 percent in the same period last year to 92 percent. With the renewal of our fixed line concession agreement, we accelerated our strategic investments. In the second quarter, our fiber network length increased from 496,000 km to 514,000 km, and our fiber infrastructure reached coverage of 33.9 million households. FTTC household coverage reached 18.1 million, and FTTH/B household coverage reached 15.8 million.”
Şahin stated that they continue their investments and work to build Turkey’s digital future without interruption, saying, “We have taken the necessary steps to secure the financing of strategic investments such as the renewal of fixed-line concessions and 5G frequency purchases. We successfully completed a comprehensive financing program totaling $1.8 billion between September and October 2025, generating long-term and cost-effective resources from various global markets. In this context, we issued a seven-year green Eurobond worth $600 million. Our green Eurobond issuance, which was oversubscribed three times, is now among the green finance companies.”

“The project increased our portfolio to $1.1 billion, creating the largest green financing volume in the telecom sector. We also executed four long-term loan agreements totaling $612 million, three of which were ECA-guaranteed and one was a bilateral loan, and a five-year sukuk issuance of $600 million. These transactions, which significantly reflect the confidence international financial institutions place in Türk Telekom’s strong fundamentals and disciplined balance sheet management, have secured the resources to finance a significant portion of our announced long-term investment commitments,” he said.
Türk Telekom, the operator with the highest subscriber capacity in 5G
Şahin emphasized their strong results in the 5G frequency tender held on October 16th, saying, “By achieving strong results in the 5G frequency tender, we secured valuable frequencies that will strengthen our role as a playmaker in mobile. This has increased our ability to provide faster and more reliable mobile services during the 5G transition period.” Following the tender, we achieved the highest capacity per subscriber in both the 3.5 GHz band and total capacity, and expanded our total spectrum portfolio to 315 MHz. The fact that 56% of our LTE base stations are fiber-optic puts us above our global 2030 targets. The planned commercial launch of 5G in April 2026 will mark the beginning of a new era in which we will further enhance the customer experience and open up innovative digital services across Turkey thanks to our robust infrastructure and extensive fiber backbone. Our pioneering 5G projects in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, transportation, sports, and tourism clearly demonstrate both our network capabilities and our ability to effectively implement next-generation technologies. As in every era of communications, we will maintain our pioneering role in the 5G era.”
