The new Chery Tiggo 8 has been unveiled
The model, available in four trim levels, is priced between $13,200 and $17,200. The new Tiggo 8 family offers a high degree of customization with two exterior designs, different interior layouts, and two engine options.

Customers can choose between two different front-end designs: “Tiger” or “Leopard.” The Leopard version features narrow headlights at the top, while the Tiger version uses a split-headlight design.
The front grilles also differ depending on the version; the Tiger features tooth-like patterns, while the Leopard features sharper lines. Metallic chrome accents enhance the premium feel of the front fascia. On the side, the “Hunting Shadow” body style exudes a sporty stance with its fluid lines, black fender trim, and chrome window surrounds.
At the rear, the extended taillights and the “CHERY” logo are striking. The Tiger version measures 4,749 mm in length, while the Leopard version is approximately 2 cm shorter due to design differences. Both versions have a wheelbase of 2,825 mm.
The cabin design varies depending on the chosen exterior design. The Tiger model features a “Dawn Forest” theme, while the Leopard version features a “Galaxy Forest” theme.
The center console houses two screens, 15.6 inches and 13.2 inches, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The HMI 5.0 system is powered by an 8155 chip and supports HiCar, CarPlay, and CarLink connectivity.
An AI-powered voice assistant, four-zone voice interaction, and a navigation system deliver an enhanced user experience. Cabin features include an eight-speaker sound system, 256-color ambient lighting, a 50W wireless charging unit, massage, heated, and ventilated seats, rear seat tables, and active noise cancellation. The SUV’s interior can even be converted into sleeper mode.
The new Tiggo 8 features the Falcon 500 driver assistance system, which provides Level 2 autonomous driving. The system includes 16 different functions, including semi-autonomous driving on the highway and remote parking.
In the future, the arrival of the Falcon 700 system will also add city navigation, valet parking, and smart summoning features. Under the hood of the new Tiggo 8 is a 1.6-liter TGDI engine from the Kunpeng series. This engine produces 197 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque and is paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
The Snow Leopard version comes with all-wheel drive and offers seven different driving modes. This version’s new CDC magnetic suspension system adjusts shock absorber stiffness in real time thanks to AI-powered road-monitoring technology. Furthermore, the AI-powered intelligent all-wheel drive system optimizes torque distribution and body control.
