Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 rollout is officially gearing up. The company’s tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7, has begun receiving its stable Android 16-based update globally. This release brings a number of visual improvements and new AI-powered tools. Xiaomi confirmed that this launch is just the beginning, and that at least ten more global devices will receive the same update by the end of the month.
New Features Coming to Pad 7: Hyperland and AI Enhancement
A few weeks after its Chinese launch, the global Pad 7 model has begun receiving the OS3.0.2.0.WOZMIXM update. The new version includes the following features that significantly improve the user experience:
- Hyperland: Xiaomi’s own dynamic notification center, inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island feature.
- iOS 16-Style Lock Screen: A revamped lock screen interface in the style of iOS 16 that users can fully customize. Optimizations: Performance and graphics optimizations for smoother multitasking and overall system stability.
AI Features: New AI-powered typing and translation capabilities.
You can check for the update by going to Settings → About Tablet → Check for Updates, but the rollout is being phased in.
Xiaomi has also confirmed the list of other global devices that will receive stable HyperOS 3 by the end of this month. These devices join models that already received the update earlier this quarter, such as the Xiaomi 15 series, 15T series, POCO F7 Ultra, and iPad 7 Pro:

With Hyperland, a completely overhauled lock screen, and AI-driven upgrades, HyperOS 3 truly feels like a comprehensive OS refresh. While the company has taken some cues from Apple, it has blended them with its own optimizations for performance and speed.
The iPad 7 is just the first wave. By the end of November, the majority of Xiaomi’s 2025 lineup is expected to run the smoothest version of HyperOS yet.
