Galaxy Z TriFold launch date and specs leaked!

Samsung may be nearing completion for the long-awaited Galaxy Z TriFold. The device's launch date and specs have been leaked.

The months-long wait for Samsung’s highly anticipated new tri-fold flagship, the Galaxy Z “TriFold,” is finally over. The company has been saying for months that it will launch “before the end of the year,” but the Korean press has shared key dates and technical details for the device. Here are the details.

According to the Korean newspaper The Chosun Daily, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Z TriFold next month, approximately December 5. A launch event is expected to be held on that date, followed by “immediate” sales of the device.

The device is expected to be priced at approximately 4.4 million Korean won (approximately $3,000). It’s not yet clear where the TriFold will be available, but the report suggests that the device will “most likely be limited to Korea and select Asian countries.” While previous reports suggested a US launch was open, this remains unclear.

The same report also “confirms” a number of key specifications for the Galaxy Z TriFold. While most of these details have leaked from various sources in recent weeks, the battery size offers a noteworthy new piece of information.

In particular, the 5,600 mAh battery size stands out as an important step taken to meet the higher energy needs of the tri-fold screen and represents a significant increase compared to the Galaxy Z Fold series.
