Paramount Pictures has finally taken the long-awaited step toward a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. The studio has accelerated its efforts to revitalize and expand the brand.
Details about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film
According to Hollywood sources, the studio has begun negotiations with producer Neal H. Moritz. Paramount holds all rights to the franchise.

Therefore, the company aims to expand the franchise into a broader entity. Furthermore, the new team led by Skydance is reevaluating existing projects.
The live-action film in development will not replace existing animated projects. Mutant Mayhem 2, specifically slated for release in 2027, is progressing as planned.
In contrast, the Tales of the TMNT series has reportedly been canceled. This move is being interpreted as a sign that the studio will prioritize its live-action side.
Paramount has put the project based on The Last Ronin comics on hold for the time being. The studio does not currently believe an R-rated story is appropriate.
Instead, they are looking to launch a project that appeals to a wider audience. The series hasn’t been released in live-action theaters since 2016.
