Battlefield 6 players might finally be getting what they’ve been asking for since launch. A fresh leak from reliable dataminer Temporyal points to a Season 2 update packed with new content including a fan-favorite helicopter and several unreleased weapons.

The headline of this leak? The AH-6 Little Bird helicopter is reportedly making its long-overdue return to multiplayer. Until now, it’s only been available in single-player and Portal modes. But according to Temporyal, both factions will get access to the same base model in Season 2, with no gameplay-altering variants.

That’s a big deal for longtime fans who’ve missed the nimble, combat-ready chopper that’s been a Battlefield staple for years. Unsurprisingly, news of its possible return sparked celebration across X and Reddit.

In addition to the Little Bird, several unannounced weapons have surfaced in the game’s backend files. These aren’t minor additions they include familiar names from past titles and military arsenals:

    • MG5 – A heavy weapon similar to the MG4, likely to make waves in the LMG crowd
    • Bren 2 – A Czech-made assault rifle with modular customization
    • Scorpion Evo 3 – A compact SMG popular with aggressive players
    • Škorpion vz. 61 – Expected to appear as a secondary weapon

Each weapon adds variety to Battlefield 6’s current arsenal, and their discovery suggests that DICE is actively expanding class options and gunplay styles.

It doesn’t stop with firearms. Temporyal also uncovered several new gadgets, hinting at more tactical diversity in the next update. Among them:

    • GL40 STKY – A sticky grenade launcher
    • M320A1 AT – An anti-vehicle launcher, expected to be part of the Assault class
    • RGO grenade – A short-fuse explosive
    • Airburst grenade launcher – Designed for ranged engagements

Exact class assignments remain unclear for some of these, but the M320A1 AT appears targeted at frontline players looking to counter vehicles more effectively.

While EA hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, current speculation points to January 20, 2026. If the leak proves accurate, Season 2 could offer the most exciting content drop since launch especially with the community finally getting the Little Bird in multiplayer.
