Samsung released the November 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S23 series a few days ago. However, this update was initially only available for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, excluding the Galaxy S23 FE. This is changing today.
One UI 8.5 is Next
Samsung has begun rolling out the November 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S23 FE. The update is currently live in Europe and India. Given Samsung’s rapid rollout of updates, it’s likely the brand will soon be rolling it out to other regions as well. The update carries firmware version number S711BXXSCFYK3.
The November 2025 security patch addresses 25 vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the operating system. To install the update on your Galaxy S23 FE, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s next One UI version for Galaxy phones and tablets, One UI 8.5, will offer a host of visual upgrades and a host of new features, and the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to receive this update. Samsung is also expected to release One UI 8.5 alongside the Galaxy S26 series.
