Microsoft is offering a wide range of games to gamers by announcing the new list for its weekly “Free Play Days” event on the Xbox platform.
Free Play Days Begins
This weekend’s event offers free access to a total of seven different games, ranging from popular sports titles to long-running shooter series. Featured titles include NBA 2K26 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Users have the opportunity to experience the full versions of these games until December 22nd.

Access is divided into two main groups based on subscription type. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can access NBA 2K26, WWE 2K25, PGA Tour 2K25, Ark: Survival Ascended, and The Forgotten City without any restrictions.
On the other hand, Microsoft is offering Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Fallout 76 to all Xbox users without any subscription requirements. Specifically, with Black Ops 7, players can test the game’s multiplayer and zombie modes unlimitedly during the free trial period. Fallout 76, on the other hand, remains playable for one day longer than the other titles, until December 23rd.
All achievements, in-game progress, and purchased additional content (DLC) earned during the free trial period are directly saved to the user profile. Players have the chance to continue where they left off if they decide to purchase these games after the trial period ends.
Users who want to access the games need to go to the Microsoft Store via Xbox consoles and visit the “Free Game Days” section under the “Subscriptions” tab.
Users accessing via PC can find the relevant games in the Microsoft Store and start the installation process. With this move, Microsoft is both introducing next-generation sports games to a wider audience and increasing interaction on the platform by making the latest content from major titles like Call of Duty available to the entire player base.
