Honda has updated its iconic Accord model for 2026. Instead of a radical design overhaul, the Japanese manufacturer opted to refine the existing structure with technological and equipment additions.
The new Honda Accord has been unveiled.
The changes introduced with the new model year particularly enhance user comfort and connectivity options in entry-level trim packages. The entry-level versions of the 2026 Accord series, designated LX and SE, now feature a 9-inch multimedia screen as standard equipment.
In parallel with this technological advancement, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support has become accessible to all drivers. Furthermore, a 15W wireless charging unit has been added as standard equipment to meet modern needs within the vehicle.

Visual changes are concentrated in certain trim packages. The SE version stands out from its predecessor with a new 19-inch alloy wheel design, while black accents are more prominent in the Sport Hybrid and Sport-L Hybrid options.
In the Sport Hybrid model, the window frames are entirely black, while both hybrid versions feature black logos and badges on the tailgate. These visual touches are complemented by glossy black trim on the side mirrors, shark fin antenna, and B-pillar. The higher-end EX-L and Touring trims have not undergone any structural or visual changes for 2026.
In terms of engine and performance data, Honda maintains its existing reliable infrastructure. The hybrid Accord models continue with a dual-motor system producing a total of 204 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque.
This system utilizes a direct-drive transmission instead of a traditional gearbox. For those who prefer a pure gasoline engine, the 1.5-liter turbocharged unit continues to produce 192 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque.
In the gasoline option, the power produced by the engine is transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT transmission. Honda has opted for a minimal price increase for the new model year. The price hikes, depending on the trim level, ranged from $100 to $155.
Accordingly, the entry-level price for the 2026 Honda Accord in the United States is set at $29,590, while the top-of-the-line Touring version starts at $40,645.
