New leaks have emerged regarding the OnePlus Nord 6, the highly anticipated successor to the Nord 5. According to information shared by reliable leaker Yogesh Brar on X, the new mid-range smartphone is expected to be unveiled in early April 2026.
OnePlus Nord 6 Leaked: Powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4
The most striking detail in the leaked specs is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor at the device’s core. Recent Geekbench tests suggest this chip delivers a 26% increase in multi-core CPU performance compared to its predecessor. This significant hardware upgrade positions the device as one of the most powerful models in the mid-range segment.

The new model is reported to share hardware similarities with the OnePlus Turbo 6, which was previously released in China. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. Notably for gamers, the leaks include a 165Hz refresh rate and support for 165Hz high-frame-rate gaming. Additionally, the device will house a specialized G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip developed to enhance in-game connection stability.
Camera and Battery: A 9,000 mAh Powerhouse?
The leaked camera configuration includes a 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear and a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. However, the most talked-about feature is the battery. The device is expected to inherit the massive 9,000 mAh battery and 80W wired fast charging support from the Chinese variant.
Nevertheless, industry insiders suggest that the battery capacity for the global market might be slightly lower due to international safety regulations. Given these advanced features and the processor upgrade, the launch price is predicted to be higher than that of the Nord 5.
