Samsung has officially initiated the rollout of the highly anticipated One UI 9.0 Beta 4 update for the Galaxy S26 series, including the standard model, the S26+, and the premium S26 Ultra. The software package first became available to users in India, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to refine the user experience before the final, stable version reaches the global market. This beta initiative, which will soon expand to South Korea and other international regions, is primarily designed to identify and eliminate software bugs while optimizing overall system performance to ensure a seamless interface for all Galaxy S26 owners.

This update establishes a more robust foundation for user data safety, ensuring that the devices remain resilient against evolving threats. Furthermore, the development team addressed specific connectivity issues, including bugs within the Routines application that prevented Bluetooth media volume settings from functioning correctly when the phone connected to a vehicle’s infotainment system.

Users Can Install the Update Manually

Galaxy S26 series users currently enrolled in the beta program can check for the availability of this update through the device’s Settings menu. By navigating to the Software Update section and selecting the Check for Updates option, users can download the latest package.
