Huawei has officially expanded its wearable technology portfolio with the global launch of the Huawei Watch D3 and the FreeBuds Neo. Unveiled during a major product event, the Watch D3 brings medical-grade blood pressure monitoring to the wrist, while the FreeBuds Neo introduces high-resolution lossless audio capabilities. The new smartwatch features a refined, slimmer design and an ultra-bright AMOLED display, significantly improving upon its predecessor. Both devices are scheduled to reach international markets on September 23, aiming to solidify Huawei’s presence in the competitive health-tracking and personal audio sectors with advanced sensors and high-fidelity sound engineering.

Watch D3 Offers a Slimmer Design and Brighter Display

The Huawei Watch D3 represents a significant evolution in health-focused wearable design. Moving away from the bulkier aesthetic of earlier models, the new version features a sleek aluminum chassis measuring just 11.3 mm in thickness and weighing only 40 grams. The visual experience is enhanced by a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, which boasts a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels. By narrowing the airbag by one millimeter, Huawei has improved the user experience without sacrificing the medical precision of the blood pressure readings. The device continues to support 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), now complemented by a significantly quieter internal pump mechanism for discreet nighttime use.

Advanced Health Tracking Features are Integrated

Beyond standard measurements, the Watch D3 introduces a sophisticated analytical system designed to monitor blood pressure fluctuations before and after physical workouts. Users can benefit from the Health Glance feature, which generates a comprehensive report covering 11 critical health indicators—including heart rate, blood pressure, and SpO2 levels—within a mere 60 seconds. The watch also adopts Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, providing a more stable and efficient link to paired smartphones. With its 540 mAh battery, the device offers up to six days of typical usage. The watch is priced at 399.99 pounds and is available in Mocha Gold and Black.

FreeBuds Neo Deliver High-Resolution Audio

The FreeBuds Neo debut as a premium addition to Huawei’s audio lineup. These earbuds utilize a dual-channel active noise cancellation (ANC) system capable of filtering up to 30 dB of ambient noise. An adaptive algorithm, powered by Huawei’s third-generation audio chip, dynamically adjusts to environmental sounds in milliseconds.

Technical performance is bolstered by support for 990 kbps transfer speeds and high-resolution lossless audio transmission. The earbuds offer spatial audio support, creating an immersive acoustic environment for various media types. Designed for cross-platform compatibility, they connect seamlessly with Android, iOS, and Windows devices simultaneously.
