Despite the increased complexity of the hybrid architecture, the vehicle retains its renowned off-road prowess, including a 700 mm water-wading depth. Engineers have ensured that the vehicle remains operational using only the internal combustion engine in the event of a hybrid system malfunction, prioritizing safety for remote travel. 
Due to the added weight of the electrification components, the vehicle is 170 kg heavier, and the fuel tank capacity has been reduced from 80 liters to 68 liters.
Trim Levels and Aesthetic Revisions Are Defined
The traditional gasoline engine has been removed from the lineup, simplifying the internal combustion options to only the 3.3-liter V6 diesel, which provides 307 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. 
The model is available in three distinct trims: GX, ZX, and GR Sport. While the entry-level GX remains strictly diesel, the hybrid powertrain is offered starting from the ZX trim level. 
The exterior of the hybrid versions is distinguished by a unique front bumper design. Customers can further personalize their vehicles with the Modellista styling package, which includes aerodynamic enhancements, widened fenders, and specialized 20-inch alloy wheels. 
Additional aesthetic touches in this package include a tailored rear gate cover and a roof spoiler to improve the overall silhouette.
Market Availability and Pricing Are Announced
The official launch of the updated Land Cruiser 300 is set for October 1 in Japan. 
Prospective buyers can expect a price range that reflects the advanced technology integrated into the new powertrain. The base diesel model starts at 6.3 million yen, while the flagship GR Sport hybrid variant reaches 10.2 million yen.
