It’s been ten years since The Witcher 3 took over our lives, and somehow, CD Projekt RED still isn’t done celebrating. The latest tribute? A physical edition of its beloved in-game card game, Gwent, is now officially out in the wild under the name Gwent: The Legendary Edition.

This isn’t some token anniversary item. Gwent: The Legendary Edition is a full-featured tabletop experience with everything you’d want in a real-world version of the game. Co-developed by CD Projekt RED and Hachette Boardgames, it includes over 400 faithfully reproduced cards, a high-quality playmat, faction tokens, and all the trimmings.

Each of the game’s five iconic factions, Northern Realms, Nilfgaard, Scoia’tael, Monsters, and Skellig, is represented. Whether you’re a deck-control tyrant or just here to mess with your friends using monster swarms, this box has you covered.

Ace Attorney 7 won’t appear in the next Nintendo Direct, says leaker

Ace Attorney fans, temper expectations a known Nintendo Direct leaker says Ace Attorney 7 won't be part of this month's rumored showcase.

If you’re wondering whether this release is the real deal, here’s a quick breakdown of what’s inside the box:

The set retails for around $44.99 USD and is already available through major board game retailers and online shops like Amazon.

Gwent was more than a mini-game when it first appeared in The Witcher 3. It became an obsession, one that later grew into its own standalone digital TCG. Though official development on digital Gwent wrapped up some time ago, the servers are still up and running in 2025, keeping the competition alive.

But for players who prefer the click of real cards and the satisfaction of in-person victories, this new physical edition is a long-overdue gift.

Sure, mod support is finally creeping onto consoles, and The Witcher 3 continues to thrive on new hardware. But for fans who want a different kind of showdown, one that unfolds face-to-face over a table, Gwent: The Legendary Edition is exactly what this anniversary needed.

No microtransactions. No patches. Just cards, friends, and bragging rights.
