There are concrete developments regarding the iPhone SE series, which hasn’t been updated for two years. The common point in reports so far is that Apple is expected to release the iPhone SE 4 in the early months of 2025. The latest reports, however, clear up any uncertainties surrounding the design of the smartphone.
iPhone SE 4 mock-up revealed: What will it look like?
The Macotakara blog, known for sharing information about Apple, has posted mock-ups of the upcoming iPhone SE 4 and the less-known iPhone SE 4 Plus model. However, it is noted that since Apple has never released such a model before, the chances of this model coming out are low.
The iPhone SE 4 mock-up largely aligns with previous leaks, showcasing a design focused on the iPhone 14. The front still features the notch, and there is a single camera on the back. In short, if these rumors turn out to be true, we can expect an iPhone 14-like device with a single camera.
The processor of the model has yet to be confirmed. However, it is predicted that it will come with at least the Apple A18 chip, the same hardware used in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, providing up-to-date performance. There is also a significant increase in RAM, with the model expected to feature 8 GB, as opposed to its predecessor’s 4 GB. Lastly, though not yet confirmed, the device is expected to support Apple Intelligence AI features.
The smartphone will feature an OLED display, indicating the discontinuation of LCD panels. In addition, with the A18 chip, the device is highly likely to run Apple Intelligence AI features.
