WhatsApp continues to work on features that enhance the user experience. The platform has recently started testing a new feature aimed at making voice messages more convenient. Here are the details!
WhatsApp Tests Quick Reply Feature for Voice Messages
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows users to quickly reply to incoming voice messages with just one tap. This feature, detected in the Android WhatsApp beta version 2.24.26.6, will enable users to record and send voice replies easily while listening to a message.
To elaborate, the new feature will add a button next to the voice message, allowing you to record and send your response without needing to click on the “reply” option. This will create a smoother and faster chat experience.
The quick reply feature for voice messages is currently being tested with a limited number of users. If everything goes as planned, this feature could be rolled out to the general public in the future. However, it’s important to note that not all features being tested are guaranteed to be made available to all users.
Additionally, the platform has been testing a new notification system designed to prevent missed messages. Through this system, the most frequent contacts will be identified using an algorithm, and unread messages from them will trigger reminder notifications on your device.
What do you think about this? Do you believe WhatsApp’s quick reply feature for voice messages will improve your experience?
