A Modern and Minimal Look: PayPal Changes Its Logo!

Ana sayfa / News

PayPal, which has been unavailable in Turkey for a long time but remains highly popular globally, has added a new logo to the ones it has changed over the past 25 years. First introduced around 25 years ago, PayPal ceased operations in Turkey some time ago. During this period, the company has undergone five logo changes, and today, it unveiled its sixth logo. Here’s a look at PayPal’s new logo…

Aiming to increase user diversity with the new generation, PayPal has adopted a more innovative look. The new logo, designed by Pentagram, is flatter, black, and more modern compared to its predecessors, which were blue, symbol-based, and italic. This updated logo is intended to appeal to a broader audience.

PayPal’s shift to a simpler logo, compared to the more dynamic and colorful logos in global payment systems, is intended to distinguish it from the blue color synonymous with fintech. Although the new logo itself is black, PayPal continues to use blue in promotional videos and images. However, it’s important to note that the logo design is primarily black.

PayPal introduces its own stablecoin!

PayPal, one of the most popular payment tools worldwide, is launching a stablecoin with a value pegged to 1 US dollar.

Despite transitioning to a new logo, PayPal still retains elements of its previous identity, displaying the iconic double P blue logo during digital payments. The new logo and cards are being promoted through the video below.

What do you think about this change? Should PayPal return to Turkey? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
