Nowadays, when we want to access a computer game, we usually don’t have any other option but to buy it. However, players want to try out a game that is popular on social media platforms before buying it. Good news came from Steam, the first platform that comes to mind when games are mentioned.
90 minute tryout
Steam will offer the opportunity to try a game for 90 minutes before buying it thanks to its new feature called Game Trials. The pleasing detail is that no demo will be offered to players. You will be able to access all features of the game you want to try for 90 minutes.
The Steam Game Trials feature is being tested with Dead Space! Dead Space, developed by Valve, is currently the first game that can be tested for 90 minutes before buying it. As mentioned above, there are no demos or restrictions. It’s possible to explore the game in all its details for 90 minutes.
Players were able to buy a game on the platform and return it within two hours, but the trial feature will make things a bit easier.
Although this is not seen as a major development by some users, Steam offering the Game Trials option for other games will be a significant turning point in the gaming industry.
