Reminiscent of the Max Payne series with its gameplay and main character, the official trailer for El Paso, Elsewhere has finally been released. The third-person shooter about supernatural events will be released in September. Here are all the details about El Paso, Elsewhere.
El Paso, Elsewhere coming to PC and Xbox in September
A new Max Payne-inspired action game has quickly become a social media sensation. Independent developer Strange Scaffold has announced the trailer and release date for El Paso, Elsewhere.
Following in the footsteps of Max Payne’s legendary gameplay, the new third-person shooter will force the main character to fight werewolves, vampires and other creatures. Set in a Texas motel, the game features hip-hop music and slow-motion action.
The El Paso development team said that the design and gameplay of Elsewhere was heavily influenced by Max Payne. The developers, who were fans of the game during the PlayStation 2 era, said they are looking forward to releasing the game in September.
Initially, it will only be available on PC and Xbox via Steam. It remains unclear if it will come to PlayStation 5. It should be noted that the first comments about the game are quite positive.
We remind you that Strange Scaffold has previously appeared on Steam with independent games such as Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator and Sunshine Shuffle.
A Max Payne remake is also in development. Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will be coming to next-gen consoles and Windows.
